Dauntless
Longboard® Dauntless baffles are considered a decorative architectural feature and not a ceiling by the International Building Code (IBC) because it is not connected to the walls on all four sides. The ASCE 7 recommends that decorative architectural components and their supports are designed and installed in the same manner as acoustical suspended ceilings.

Intrepid
Longboard® Intrepid baffles are mechanically fastened to conventionally framed wall and ceiling structures as well as approved suspended ceiling structures and are therefore suitable to be used in all seismic categories.
